On Design and AI

Today is 24th march, 2023 and GPT-4 can read interfaces.

It can describe a image in a very detailed way. So can it write code faster and better. I believe things like UX audit will be done mostly with such tech.

With Plugins on top of chatgpt, a good amount of work can be done with the text interface. But I believe we'll see a new GUI coming on top of chat interfaces for complex tasks.

I shared some thoughts on this on twitter. We have to be dynamic, with AI specialization on fields, Designers who can bring together multiple things and connect dots have leverage over others.

I believe exciting times are coming but I'm scared at a same time.
